Wonderful to see #TheNormanWay launched yesterday at Our Lady's Island by Minister Patrick O'Donovan. The Norman Way is a member of #WexfordTrails and a very welcome addition to the existing: Wexford Craft Trail, Wexford Garden Trail, Wexford Heritage Trail and Wexford Walking Trail network. A great atmosphere fueled by sunshine, the backdrop of a Norman Castle, music, song and dance, with hospitality provided by local volunteers, out in the open overlooking a lake - what more could you ask for. Congratulations to all involved! Ireland's Ancient East Visit Wexford Tintern Trails

Enniscorthy Riverside trail - located on the banks of the River Slaney in the historic town of Enniscorthy. The trail starts along the promenade walk and brings you along through meadow plains with an array of biodiversity. Keep an eye out for Brownswood House, home of renowned architect Eileen Gray on the opposite bank of the river. For a casual meander or a brisk walk, morning or evening, this is a great trail to take!

Take time out to enjoy the Courtown Woodland trails. You have a choice of 4 trails: the River Walk, Canal Walk, Top Walk and High Cross - each with its own distinct character. Keep an eye out for the Cedar of Lebanon, a tree lined avenue, the High Cross of Kilbride and a viaduct which was once the tallest in Ireland. You can start your walk beside the entrance to the Courtown Adventure & Leisure Centre - don't try do them all in the one day - they're well worth revisiting. You can always relax afterwards on the nearby beach or enjoy refreshments in local cafe/restaurants. #northwexford Visit Wexford LoveGorey.ie
