Ramsfort Wood Trails

Known as the Deerpark, this woodland was once part of the Ram Estate with deer running wild through its 400 acres of mainly oak trees.  Today some oak trees remain together with Norway spruce, sycamore, holly and silver birch.  Ferns lover the shady environment and in Autumn there are many wild mushrooms to be seen.  Look out for the resident buzzard, squirrels and a ghost that wanders through the woods between the hours of 10 pm and midnight.
