Accessibility works are under way including disabled parking spaces, surface improvements and placement of accessible benches and tables. Work is currently under way in the north of the county and will continue over the next few weeks with some temporary trail closures expected.

Askamore community fundraiser toward car park construction costs
Askamore Community are set to develop a new car park at the Shrule entrance to Askamore Trails. To help raise funds towards the construction costs, Askamore Community Council are hosting a Table Quiz in October.

The 10th annual Wexford Walking Trail Festival takes place from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th September 2024. Enjoy rambling along some of the most iconic trails in Wexford at landmark locations at Forth Mountain and Carnsore Point.

June Country Connects at Carnsore
This month’s walk is along a beautiful coastal trail, the Carnsore Point Trail. Beginning in the very attractive seaside village of Carne with its Blue Flag Beach, the trail leads down to a scenic coastal path to Nethertown Beach and on to Carnsore Point.

Carrigfoyle welcomes Country Connects to the Three Rocks Trail. This month’s trail is graded as moderate but a good level of fitness is required. Taking place on Sunday April 28th from 2pm – 4pm. All welcome!
