Country Connects – Rosslare Harbour
Wexford Walking Trails together with Wexford Country Council, Healthy Wexford and the Irish Farmer’s Association are delighted to participate in this year’s Rosslare Harbour Festival and hope that you will join us to walk along the Clifftop Trail and through the Village including the beautiful Secret Garden. This trail is a fully accredited Sport Ireland trail and is classified as easy and is a multi accessible trail. Good outdoor walking footwear, suitable clothing and snacks/drinks are all recommended.

This beautiful walk will bring you along the top of the cliffs overlooking Rosslare Europort where ferries are continually crossing to and from Wales, France, Belgium and Spain. On land you will pass dwellings once used to house Coastguards, Lighthouse Keepers and Lifeboat Men’s Families.
Further along, the path looks out to Tuskar Rock and beautiful views across to Greenore Point and beyond. The Village Trail is packed with features for all ages to enjoy and you will be enchanted by the Secret Garden. A wonderful family experience.
The trails and gardens in Rosslare Harbour are maintained by the Rosslare Harbour Kilrane Environment Group and the Rosslare Harbour Festival is supporting them by organising a donation box on the day.
Following our walk, hot food and snacks can be purchased from the Garden Café in Rosslare Harbour.
