Wexford Walking Trails together with Wexford Country Council, Healthy Wexford and the Irish Farmer’s Association are inviting you to get outdoors and explore one of Wexford’s fabulous country trails.  Our walk along Cahore Point Trail is graded ‘EASY’ and is suitable for beginners and for all the family. Good outdoor walking footwear, suitable clothing and snacks/drinks are all recommended.

The Cahore Point Trail is a stunning coastal path leading up the cliff away from the pier towards the South Beach. Along the walk there are many points of interest such as stone lookout towers, Cahore Castle and the remains of a WW2 Éire sign. Arriving at the beach, the trail then turns inland, leading you back to the village of Cahore. Local guides will be leading the walk and refreshments will be served on return to Cahore.
