Sport Ireland Outdoors supports the development of recreational trails throughout Ireland and contains lots of information on trails around Ireland.
coillte Coillte was established under the Forestry Act 1988. It is a commercial company that among other responsibilities, manages forestry in Ireland. Many of our trails pass through Coillte managed forests. Wexford Walking Trails clg appreciates the support and co-operation of Coillte under their Open Forest Policy.
Wexford-Garden-Trail-Brand-v01 Wexford Garden Trail  includes a wide range of gardens and parks. From gardens that were originally laid out in the 18th century to gardens that began only a decade ago, the trail shows the diversity of our landscape across the county.  The trail also includes specialist nurseries  and garden centres.
biodiversity ireland This website is a fantastic resource. The NBDC is responsible for documenting Ireland’s wildlife.  The site contains a database of wildlife and also instructions on how to record sightings.
npws  NPWS manage State-owned National Parks and Nature Reserves through which some of our trails pass. They also have responsibility for conservation and promoting awareness of natural heritage and biodiversity.
 Bird Watch Ireland is a conservation charity dedicated to protecting Ireland’s wild birds and their habitats.
 Wexford_badge_WebRes_007  Wexford Wildfowl Reserve is a designated Ramsar Site, part of a Special Protection Area (SPA),  a proposed National Heritage Area (pNHA), and a National Nature Reserve. It is a partnership between NPWS and BirdwatchIreland.
 WLD operate a number of Social Inclusion programmes and Rural Development programmes in County Wexford.
