Follow the green signs from the Walkers Car Park in a south westerly direction. Look out for the bees and the many wild flowers as you walk in the woodland section.
You will also see the entrance to Colclough Walled Garden on this route.
When you reach the fortified bridge turn right for Saltmills and St Kierans, this section is on road by Bannow Bay. Lookout for seaside flowers and seaside birds as you walk. When you arrive back at the old church take a right up the steps and back to the Walkers Car Park.

From the R733, take the L4041 and, after 1km, turn right at the entrance to Tintern Abbey. Continue 100m to the Walkers Car Park or further along to the car park at the abbey. Alternative trailhead located in Saltmills village.
