Irish Water has approached Coillte to request access to the southern part of Ramsfort Forest in Gorey for the installation of pipework which will service new homes in the area.
Clancy Homes, on behalf of Irish Water, plan to start these works on 24th April 2023 for a period of six weeks.
The walking trail in Ramsfort Forest will remain open throughout, but there may be temporary diversions in place during this time.
Once the works have been completed, the grounds in the forest will be reinstated fully and there will be no evidence of the pipework, apart from manhole covers to allow for future access.
Information signs will be posted at the entrance to the property and visitors to the forest are kindly asked to follow all safety signage in place.
