The 10th annual Wexford Walking Trail Festival takes place from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th September 2024. Enjoy rambling along some of the most iconic trails in Wexford at landmark locations at Forth Mountain and Carnsore Point.
October, November and December dates for Country Connects Walks this autumn. While there are no Country Connects Walks over the summer, there will be a guided walk during Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann and our annual Walking Festival in September
Join us on a special Fleadh Cheoil Heritage Walk through the Faythe, an area of Wexford town rich in heritage and culture where the All-Ireland Button Accordian Player, George Ross, lived and is celebrated in a beautiful mural
This month’s walk is along a beautiful coastal trail, the Carnsore Point Trail. Beginning in the very attractive seaside village of Carne with its Blue Flag Beach, the trail leads down to a scenic coastal path to Nethertown Beach and on to Carnsore Point.
Details of scheduled maintenance works currently in progress across the Wexford Walking Trails network including trail closures in place.
