UPDATE: Works have been completed on The Fairy Path section of the Dunbrody Forest Trail on Lacken Hill. The trail is fully open again.
The Fairy Path section of the Dunbrody Forest Trail on Lacken Hill is closed from Monday 24th October 2022 for essential maintenance work. It is expected to re-open Saturday 29th October. An update will be posted here when the work is complete.
It is not possible to complete the full Dunbrody Forest Trail loop or visit the Fairy Village during this period. This work is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development (DRCD) and Coillte.
