The walks will take place on our established and fully Sport Ireland accredited trails. The trails are mainly graded as moderate and are suitable for people with a moderate level of fitness but care is required. Good outdoor walking footwear, suitable clothing and snacks/drinks are all recommended. This month we head to Blackwater Forest Trail. Save the Date and Enjoy Getting Active

Blackwater Forest Trail Map

A trail for all seasons, offering seasonal surprises all along the way.  Take time to enjoy a lovely walk along this forest trail discovering ferns, fungi, rushes and a wealth of wildlife and birds.  A great walk for the family to enjoy.  There will be refreshments available in the Village Hall afterwards.  The local History Group will be on hand to share some local stories.

Country Connects Captures

An added interest this month is the introduction of Country Connects Captures, a project funded by Creative Ireland Wexford.   A professional photographer will accompany us on our walk and will provide hints and tips for capturing nature photographs on your camera phone.  Learn a creative skill while enjoying the great outdoors!
