Wexford Walking Trails together with Wexford Country Council, Healthy Wexford and the Irish Farmer’s Association are inviting you to get outdoors and explore one of Wexford’s fabulous country trails.  Our walk through Oulart is graded ‘MODERATE’ and is suitable for people with a moderate level of fitness and some walking experience. Good outdoor walking footwear, suitable clothing and snacks/drinks are all recommended.

Leading off from Bygone Days House of Stories the walk will include all three waymarked trails at Oulart Hill 1798 Battlefield Walking Hub taking in a short spur on the Unyoke Trail, the scenic Jean Kennedy Smith Trail over Oulart Hill through Cosán ng Glóire which commemorate local heroes and the battles in which they fought in 1798 and leads onto Tulach a tSolais, all the while surrounded by panoramic views of County Wexford countryside. On return to the cottage there will be a talk by a local historian and complementary refreshments.
