We are excited to announce that work has begun on improving accessibility on trails within out network, including the addition of disabled parking spaces, surface improvements and placement of accessible benches and tables at the trailhead or along the trail.
Work is currently under way in the north of the county at Ballymoney, Cahore, Courtown and Kilanerin and will continue over the next few weeks. (November 18 2024 – December 2024)
PLEASE NOTE: During this time, the works may involve temporary trail closures to facilitate the upgrades.
Further works will be carried out in the south of the county at a later date.
Wexford Walking Trails clg would like to acknowledge the support of the Department of Rural and Community Development, Our Rural Future, Project Ireland 2040/Government of Ireland which has made these works possible.
